Knit for Life
Knit for Life™ is a network of volunteers who use the healing experience of knitting to enhance the lives of cancer patients, cancer survivors and their caregivers. During treatment, recovery and survivorship, participants can attend twice-monthly knitting and support sessions in a fun, welcoming environment.
Knitting helps to calm the mind, reduce pain and lower blood pressure, providing a welcome break from the stress of dealing with cancer. No experience necessary! We welcome beginning and skilled knitters. Instruction, yarn and needles are available for no charge.
Special thanks to the Federal Way Soroptimists, whose generous donations helped to fund the Federal Way program.
