Franciscan Medical Group Adds Primary-Care Clinic In Auburn
Franciscan Medical Group, the largest physician-led multi-specialty group in the South Puget Sound region, has added Franciscan Medical Clinic-Auburn to its network of providers. The clinic’s physicians are Jill Turner, MD and Lijo Thomas, MD, who are board-certified in internal medicine.
Dr. Turner said that she is pleased to be a part of the Franciscan organization because it has a "positive reputation in the medical community with many opportunities to help my practice reach its full potential." Dr. Thomas added that the Franciscan Medical Group has a "commitment to compassionate and excellent health care."
Dr. Turner has made the Northwest her home since 1988. Her medical interests include general internal medicine, diabetes and cardiovascular medicine. Dr. Turner is committed to the overall health of every patient she serves. She believes that medicine should be a collaboration of the patient and doctor that focuses on education and disease-prevention. "I strive daily to help my patients live a healthy and happy life," says Dr. Turner, who is involved in several community-based and philanthropic organizations.
A Northwest resident for 11 years, Dr. Thomas was attracted to medicine by her desire to help others live the best life possible. She is especially interested in preventive medicine, cardiovascular diseases, diabetes and women’s health. She believes that medicine is a team effort in which the doctor and patient work together in forming a treatment plan that suits the patient’s goals and lifestyle. Dr. Thomas delivers compassionate, comprehensive care by treating her patients with respect and listening carefully to them. She is fluent in Malayalam.
