Volunteering

The volunteers at Franciscan Health System are instrumental in helping us to fulfill our mission of providing quality, compassionate health care. Each year, our team of volunteers gives more than 100,000 hours of loyal service in 100 different areas—from nursing units and home care to gift shops and special events.

Who can volunteer?
Almost anyone dedicated to serving others can be a volunteer. All we ask is that you commit to four hours a week for at least six months or give us 100 hours of service prior to the six months being completed. Volunteers must be at least 16 years old. Our staff will work with you to best match your particular talents and interest with our needs, and you'll receive training at the location where you choose to volunteer.
