At the Jane Thompson Russell Cancer Care Center at St. Anthony Hospital, Peninsula residents receive world-class outpatient cancer care, close to home.
The cancer care center is located on the ground level of the Milgard Medical Pavilion at St. Anthony Hospital.
Services now available at the Jane Thompson Russell Cancer Care Center:
- Radiation therapy provided by Peninsula Radiation Oncology. The physicians are Kenneth Bergman, MD; Dean Mastras, MD; Michael McDonough, MD; and Michael Soronen, MD. Peninsula Radiation Oncology is a partnership between Tacoma/Valley Radiation Oncology Centers and Franciscan Health System. Phone: 253-851-5155

- Medical oncology, including chemotherapy infusion and clinical research, provided by Moacyr Oliveira, MD and Frank Senecal, MD of Northwest Medical Specialties.
- Complementary therapies provided by Franciscan Health System.
The cancer care center is named for Jane Thompson Russell, beloved philanthropist, community activist and late wife of business leader George Russell. Mrs. Russell chaired the St. Joseph Medical Center Board of Trustees and served on the Franciscan Health System Board of Directors.
