Dr. Thoophom is a Board-Certified pediatrician who has 9 years experience in general pediatric practice. She's a Seattle native who completed her undergraduate degree with Honors at University of Washington. Then, she returned to Thailand to reunite with her parents and while there, she finished her medical school education. Subsequently, she completed her Pediatrics residency training at the Sunrise Children's Hospital/University of Nevada School of Medicine. After residency, she got married and moved with her husband to Southern California where she's been practicing pediatrics in both private and public settings improving the health to a diverse population of children. Dr. Thoophom also enjoys teaching and was a preceptor for USC Medical School students and residents in outpatient pediatric clinics.As a pediatrician and also a mother, Dr. Thoophom is passionate and an advocate for the well-being of all children. She believes strongly in her role of supporting parents in decision-making process in the care of their children. She's a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and has interests in Asthma/Allergy, Obesity, and Behavioral care.
