Ashley Jensen, ARNP, is a family nurse practitioner working with Kenneth Shibata, MD, in internal medicine. She is committed to offering patients the knowledge they need to participate fully in their treatment.
Ashley has worked as a registered nurse at St. Francis Hospital in Federal Way where her duties included direct patient care, creating individualized care plans, patient education and physical assessment. She also has experience administering physical and gynecological exams; treating minor injuries, infectious diseases and mental health disorders; and working with patients with diabetes and thyroid conditions.
In addition, Ashley has served as clinical instructor for new nurses at St. Francis Hospital and is a member of the Puget Sound Nurse Practitioners Association.
