Richard Rynes, M.D., provides specialized care for rheumatology, osteoporosis and arthritic diseases. He is particularly interested in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), rheumatoid arthritis and vasculitis. Active in academic medicine and research, Dr. Rynes serves as a clinical professor of rheumatology at the University of Washington School of Medicine. He is a Fellow of the American Rheumatism Association and the American College of Physicians, and is a member of the American Federation for Clinical Research.
