Franciscan Health System expands care in Kitsap County with addition of physical therapy
New service will begin July 14 in Port Orchard

Franciscan Health System will launch a new service in South Kitsap County on Monday, July 14, with the opening of Franciscan Physical Therapy at Port Orchard.

Conveniently located on the second floor of the Franciscan Medical Pavilion at 451 S.W. Sedgwick Road, the new program will provide outpatient orthopedic physical therapy services from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Patients will receive expert care for low back and neck pain; arthritis; work-related injuries; post-surgical rehabilitation; treatment of sprains, strains and contusions; as well as sports medicine for people of all ages. Services are scheduled by referral from a physician.

Practitioner Marc Nordby, MPT, brings 13 years of experience in outpatient orthopedics and specializes in manual therapy, work rehabilitation, spine treatment and sports rehabilitation. He holds a master’s degree in physical therapy from Loma Linda University School of Allied Health in Loma Linda, Calif. For more information or to schedule an appointment, call 360-874-5930.

Franciscan Physical Therapy will be located in the same building that houses Franciscan’s Port Orchard Medical Clinic.
