St. Joseph Medical Center in Tacoma has received the prestigious Consumer Choice Award for the 11th straight year for being identified as a preferred hospital by an independent survey of Tacoma-area residents by National Research Corp.
Winners of the annual Consumer Choice Award from 250 markets across the U.S. were announced Oct. 12 by National Research Corp. Four questions from the survey are rolled up into the results for the Consumer Choice 2009/2010 Award:

- Who has the best nurses?
- Who provides the best overall quality?
- Who has the best image and reputation?
