The sixth-annual St. Clare Hospital Golf Tournament will begin at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 17 at the Tacoma Golf & Country Club, with proceeds from the special event supporting a remodel of the hospital’s busy emergency department.

This $1.25 million remodel, which will double the number of triage rooms and improve patient privacy, will help make certain those in the community with urgent medical needs are treated faster and more efficiently. The hospital’s emergency department receives nearly 50,000 patient visits annually, or an average of 137 patients visits every day.

Tickets cost $175 per person or $700 per foursome. Also, hole sponsorship opportunities are available for only $500. Reservations are requested by Monday, Aug. 10 and space is limited.
