Franciscan Medical Group announces the addition of urogynecologist and pelvic surgeon Cindy Mosbrucker, MD to the staff at St. Joseph Medical Clinic in Tacoma and Gig Harbor Medical Clinic.
A board-certified gynecologist, her medical interests include women’s health, urinary and fecal incontinence, pelvic prolapse, endometriosis, interstitial cystitis, pelvic and abdominal pain, uterine fibroids, irregular bleeding, advanced laparoscopic and robotic surgery.
Dr. Mosbrucker recently completed advanced training under David Redwine, MD, a world-renowned expert in the treatment of endometriosis, to further her expertise in laparoscopic excision of endometriosis and advanced laparoscopic surgery.
A native of the Pacific Northwest, Dr. Mosbrucker received a degree in medicine from Northwestern University in Chicago, and completed her residency at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. A Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, she has extensive experience in performing vaginal and pelvic reconstruction, and advanced laparoscopic surgeries.
Dr. Mosbrucker’s philosophy of care is to treat patients as if they were members of her own family while actively involving them in the decision-making process. “I believe approaching complex medical problems as a team, with mutual respect and trust, leads to better treatment outcomes and greater patient satisfaction,” she says.
