Meet Our Franciscan Palliative Care Outreach Staff

BishopJohn David Bishop, MSN, RN, ARNP-BC

John has more than 39 years of experience in the medical field, including 12 as an advanced registered nurse practitioner and 27 as a registered nurse. John has extensive experience working with the geriatric population including hospice patients and patients in nursing homes.



HongKyoung S. Hong, RN, BSN, FNP

Kyoung is a seasoned nurse practitioner. Her experience includes working as a hospital Medical-Surgical floor nurse, a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility resident care manager, and most recently, as a Hospice RN, care manager. As a family nurse practitioner, Kyoung enjoys caring for people of all ages, from infants to seniors, and she has a special medical interest in hospice and palliative care.


MoultineKristin Moultine, LICSW

Kristin has 13 years of social work experience, providing comfort and care for patients and families as they transition through the end of life. She serves as a calming presence in critical situations and works to create a safe space for meaning and hope in the face of death.



MurphyNancy K. Murphy, CHPN, GNP

Nancy’s experience includes working as an after-hours triage and visiting nurse for Hospice of Kitsap County. In this role, she provided support for the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of patients, families and caregivers who face life-limiting illness. Nancy strives to provide a space of emotional and spiritual safety, where the patient, family and friends can express the innermost feelings experienced during this pivotal life experience.

ThraPaula Thrall, ARNP, ACHPN

Paula has more than 30 years of practical experience in office nursing, school nursing, urgent care, and primarycare environments at all levels of nursing. She has established expertise in diabetic and primary care, includingassessment, counseling, education, diagnosisand treatment of chronic and current health problems in family practice.

TurneyBeth Ann Turney, ARNP, MN, ACHPN

Beth Ann’s experience includes three years working as a hospice/ palliative care nurse practitioner, where she assessed and managed hospice patients in all settings, with primary responsibility for managing inpatients. She also worked for eight years as an oncology nurse practitioner, where she assessed and managed outpatient hematology and oncology patients in culturally diverse populations.
