Troy Houseworth, MD is a board-certified general surgeon specializing in minimally invasive, laparoscopic, and robotically assisted bariatric procedures. Dr. Houseworth has performed more weight loss robotic procedures than any other surgeon or program in the state. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), completing his training at the Bariatric/MIS Institute for Laparoscopic Surgery, in Bellevue, Washington. Dr. Houseworth was the former chief of general surgery for the U.S. Army. He founded the bariatric surgery program at Keller Hospital in West Point, NY. He’s a strong believer in compassion and support as the keys patient success beyond the operating room.
