Total care for back pain: When your back hurts, your quality of life suffers
The Franciscan Spine Center was developed to help meet the community’s growing demand for the treatment of back pain. The Center offers guided access to the range of orthopedic and neurological services that spinal patients need.
If you have back pain—whether it’s caused by a work or sports injury, an illness or has no specific cause—we will start by bringing you to the Center for a thorough, knowledgeable assessment by a specially trained advanced registered nurse practitioner (ARNP). We will gather any information available from past care you may have had, including diagnostic imaging and medical results.
Once your back problem has been evaluated, Center staff will arrange additional testing if necessary and then will guide you through an individually designed treatment program, which may include:
- Physical and occupational therapy
- Chiropractic care
- Massage Therapy
- Biofeedback
- Pain block
- Interventional procedures
- Chronic pain management
- Surgery
Throughout the process, we will check in with you and track your progress, making sure that you are achieving the best possible outcome and resolution to your pain.

Studies show that a large percentage of people with back problems eventually settle for living with the pain, having tried treatments and procedures that work only partially or not at all.
At the Franciscan Spine Center, we are dedicated to helping restore a healthy way of life for our patients. We will take into account any previous treatments you have tried, and we will design and assist you through a personalized prevention, treatment and rehabilitation program.
