Franciscan Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Program
Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), a life-skills practice that has been in existence for 25 years, will help you to pay attention to what is happening inside of you and around you. It will help keep your stress at a healthier level and is ideal for people living with anxiety and depression, cancer, heart disease, chronic pain, high blood pressure, sleep disorders and other ongoing conditions.
Although a part of our daily lives, when stress is not managed well, it can begin to negatively impact our work, sleep, play and eventually our overall health.
Do I need MBSR?
People who enroll in MBSR come for many different reasons, including:
- chronic pain
- high blood pressure
- sleep disturbances
- gastrointestinal distress
- heart conditions
It is also great for anyone looking for a renewed way of experiencing life!
