We realize that the death of a loved one is not the end for grieving survivors. Franciscan Hospice offers children and adults alike the necessary support while grieving the loss of a significant person.
We offer a variety of opportunities for ongoing support and education regarding grief, loss, and life adjustments following a death. Our purpose is to help individuals, families and communities identify their needs and strengths and to provide them a supportive presence.
Bereavement counselors
Providing support and education to families to help them understand their grief journey, specialized counselors stand by those who are grieving the loss of a loved one and make available correspondence, companionship, classes, events, and other follow-up for up to 16 months.
In addition are Franciscan’s regularly scheduled grief support groups and special events.
