Team care for our cancer patients
Franciscan Cancer Care is comprised of oncology-trained specialists including physicians, surgeons, nurses, pharmacists, dietitians, care managers, social workers, chaplains, occupational and physical therapists, cancer navigators (American Cancer Society, community-based and RN specialists), oncology clinical managers, and oncology nurse educator and cancer registrars.
Each member of the cancer care team has special training to support cancer patients, and they all work together, relying on their professional training and experience, to solve problems, manage care, develop treatment plans, arrange for resources both inside and outside the hospital and provide personalized care to every patient based upon their diagnosis and situation.
