Support Groups and Classes
The Franciscan cancer center sponsors several support groups throughout our service area at our different cancer program facilities. Current support groups and a brief description of each group are listed below along with links to registration information.
Knit for Life – a network of volunteers who use knitting as a healing experience for patients in treatment, recovery or survivorship.
Freedom from Tobacco – the largest and most successful tobacco cessation program in Washington state.
Breast Cancer Support Group – learn coping strategies and share stories and support with other cancer survivors.
General Cancer and Caregiver Support Groups – open to all cancer patients and their caregivers.
Look Good – Feel Better – is a non-medical, public service program that teaches beauty techniques to cancer patients to help them manage the appearance-related side effects of cancer treatment.
Cancer and Nutrition Class – is a one hour class is designed for cancer patients in active treatment and their caregiver or support person.
