Current Residents
Anna Grinberg grew up in the northwest suburbs of Chicago where she received her B.S. in Biology from Loyola University Chicago and her PharmD from Midwestern University. She practiced retail pharmacy for several years after graduation and is looking forward to developing her clinical skills as a resident. Her pharmacy interests include emergency medicine and oncology. In her free time she enjoys traveling and exploring the Pacific Northwest nature and cuisine.
Stephanie Friedman is originally from Coral Springs, Florida. She earned a B.A. in Cognitive Science at Rice University, and then completed her PharmD at the University of Washington. Currently she lives in Seattle with her husband, Michael. They are avid cooks and love preparing meals with friends. She also enjoys the outdoors, especially hiking and kayaking during the Northwest’s gorgeous summer days. Her pharmacy interests include emergency medicine, critical care, and toxicology. Stephanie is excited for a great year with the Franciscan team and she looks forward to growing and improving as a pharmacist.
Shawn Hagland grew up in Woodinville, Washington. He completed his undergraduate education at the University of Portland where he received a B.S. in Biology and also studied abroad for a year in Salzburg, Austria. He went on to earn his PharmD from the University of Washington School of Pharmacy. Shawn is looking forward to experiencing a broad range of pharmacy services throughout his residency. In his free time, Shawn enjoys traveling on the Oregon Coast, digital photography, and spending time with his friends and family.
Nathan Harold grew up in Yakima, Washington before attending colleges in Washington, Chicago, England, and Iowa on his way to becoming a Pharmacist. He attended pharmacy school at the University of Iowa in Iowa City. Nate enjoys being outdoors in his free time and playing tennis or golf whenever he can. He is excited to be back in the Northwest and looks forward to working with the Franciscan healthcare team during this residency year.
Lehua Kay grew up in Hawaii. Trading sandy beaches for mountain air, Lehua attended Whitworth University and graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Chemistry. Lehua later received her PharmD from Pacific University. Lehua has an inquisitive spirit and is looking forward to opportunities with Franciscan Health System that will strengthen her clinical pharmacy knowledge. When she's not working, she can usually be found enjoying life via skiing, rafting, camping or road tripping.
Justin Yee was born and raised in Los Angeles, California where he completed both his undergraduate and graduate studies at the University of Southern California. Justin looks forward to learning and working alongside pharmacists and other health care professionals in the emergency department and critical care settings. In his free time, he loves road cycling, backpacking, and most recently, scuba diving. He can’t wait to experience Washington pharmacy practice and to enjoy the beauty of the Pacific Northwest.
