We are a non-profit, faith-based organization affiliated with Denver-based Catholic Health Initiatives, one of the largest non-profit health care organizations in the United States. We employ approximately 6,500 employees and have a medical staff of approximately 1,400 members. Franciscan is a member of the Washington State Hospital Association and is the recipient of the Washington State Quality Award for performance excellence. Our hospitals are also the exclusive providers of inpatient care for Group Health Cooperative enrollees in the South Puget Sound.
