Creating Healthier Communities

Once every three years, every not-for-profit hospital in the country is required by Federal and State law to conduct a Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA). Franciscan Health System conducted a CHNA for each of our five hospitals. The Franciscan Board of Directors has prioritized these needs and developed recommended implementation strategies to meet unmet community health needs in collaboration with our community partners. These strategies have been integrated with the Franciscan Health System Strategic Plan and are currently being implemented.
