Kimberly Moore, MD, was named vice president for quality and associate chief medical officer for the Franciscan Health System September 3, 2013.
Dr. Moore joined Franciscan Health System in 2003 as an emergency room physician at St. Joseph Medical Center. She has served in a number of leadership roles since 2005 including St. Clare Hospital Emergency Services Director, Franciscan Medical Staff President and Chair of the Medical Executive Committee. Dr. Moore was formerly the Regional Medical Director of Emergency Medicine for TEAMHealth Northwest.
Dr. Moore received her medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine. She completed her residency in emergency medicine at The Ohio State University Medical Center. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in Speech and Hearing Science from The Ohio State University. She is board-certified in Emergency Medicine.
Dr. Moore is a member of the Washington State Medical Association, the Pierce County Medical Society and the American College of Emergency Physicians. She received Northwest Emergency Physicians “Above & Beyond” Award in 2010.
