Dennis Popp has served as vice president for support services for the Franciscan Health System since April 2012.
His appointment to this position followed his retirement as the top hospital executive in Enumclaw for 26 years. He served as the chief executive at Enumclaw Regional Hospital from 1985-February 2011, and as president of St. Elizabeth Hospital in Enumclaw from February 2011 through April 2012.
As vice president for support services, he provides executive oversight of Franciscan hospital facilities; property management; laboratory services; nephrology services; materials management; food and nutrition services; and security services.
He earned as bachelor’s degree in business administration from Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois, and a master’s degree in hospital and health administration from the University of Minnesota.
He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
Popp was the recipient of the Washington State Hospital Association’s Joe Hopkins Memorial Leadership Award in 2008.
