Tony McLean has served as president of St. Francis Hospital in Federal Way since October 2008.
In addition to his duties as president of the community hospital, he provides regional executive oversight for the Franciscan Health System’s orthopedics, neurosciences, rehabilitation, and bariatric service lines.
Prior to joining the Franciscan organization, he was vice president of operations at Virginia Mason Health System in Seattle where he provided oversight for clinical service lines and ambulatory care. Before that, he was administrative director of orthopedics and musculoskeletal care at Virginia Mason.
He serves as president of the South Puget Sound American Heart Association board. He is also a member of the ACHIEVE health coalition board and serves on the Washington State Hospital Association’s Public Policy Committee.
He earned a bachelor’s degree from Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and a master’s degree in health administration from The Ohio State University in Columbus.
